You could walk to china before the repairs are made and you are able to get in the door when open to get your stuff back, Not just a one time deal, every time, they are the only repair shop in the area, and they are slow, act as if weeks is acceptable, easier just to buy a new trolling motor and be fishing then wait on these guys.
