My stay at this particular Marriott property was not the best located I've stayed at. The lobby was in a disarray and the staff was lackadaisical. One of the managers which was Caucasian was not at his bathroom people of color. I don't believe I would ever stay there again.

That was trash in the lobby they have no vending machines in their hotel and microwave scattered in different rooms not what I expect from Marriott at all and they really need to reevaluate their Detroit downtown site and the prices are not acceptable for the stay. Detroit has a reputation that I don't think it deserves. We found lots of things to see and do. I definitely want to visit again.

We mad the best of it by touring 2 james whiskey facility, and going to several reasterants. The staff and the service was exceptional, the in room amenities were over the top in quality.

I enjoyed the location which was right downtown within walking distance of the waterfront. They were very accomodating to me as I was an out of town traveler. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfotable.
