My husband is very picky about food, especially his turkish food We weren't sure the doner would be as good as we've had before.

No worries…. From Business: Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is an approachable Mediterranean eatery known for it's fresh lean meats, hand-prepped salads, gyros, and feasts, vegetarian and kids…. Had we known that there was a private party, we would have opted to have dinner somewhere else. We spent the rest of the evening being bumped into, having people stand in the aisle with their backs to us while they visited nothing like having a person's backside stare you in the face while you are dining , and having little or no service.

The food was simply sub-par for the night. When we asked if we could be moved, we were told that they were booked and nothing could be done.

We would have been glad to take a seat at the bar for dinner. This was an amazingly bad experience for what is generally a good place to dine.

What really got to us was the indifference of the statf to the experience and the host was simple rude. While, I will go back The Hightowers are wonderful people and so is there restaurant — I personaly know the Hightowers. I know that they put all there efort and work hard on making your dinning experience perfect.

The food is excelent, and the atmosfear it wonderful, very inviting, and comforting! You will want to go back there as soon as you wall out of the door. The pizza is equisite, and the salmon is aswell. Delicious entrees, great service! The service was very good and the food was excellent. The hummus was very good though I must say it wasn't the best I've had and came with plenty of warm pita. The lamb and chicken souvlaki were both beautifully served and tasted delicious!

We will definitely come again. You can't go wrong — At first some might be a little off put by the exterior reminiscent of a Dairy Queen, but that's because it is. Once you step inside though, you would never guess that Kelly Hightower's new place used to be a joint that slung burgers and blizzards. I've gone a few times in the year they've been open, and after each visit I have only one question in my head: why did it take me so long to return?

If you sit down and peruse the menu without a delictable bowl of hummus in front of you, then you are depriving yourself of an experience to remember. Perhaps the only con is that the menu is changed daily based on what is fresh, so if you come in with expectations to sample one of the other dishes that looked fantastic on your previous visit you might find your top choice is not available.

Don't worry though, their are plenty of fantastic dishes that Kelly prepares that are mainstays such as the Greek Island Stew so good you wish you could order another until you realize how filling it is that will keep your spirits high. In addition, after a recent visit where there was a wait, I decided to eat in the full service bar area with JD the bartender. Despite having great service at the tables, I will always sit at the bar from now on.

Not only is great conversation and amazing service present, but the chance to view all the delicious pizzas and entrees coming from the kitchen is too much to pass up.

Not your average neighborhood restaurant! The chef and his wife, who manages the restaurant, put their hearts into every detail on the menu. My favorites include the hummus and pita bread. The best I have ever eaten! The pasta with homemade Italian sausage is addictive and the black cod, when on the menu, will melt your heart.
