There is so much wrong at FedEx express right now. I do not recommend jumping into a sinking ship on fire. You can go to other logistics companies and make more money walking in off the street than a current 20year Fedex employee. Pros Pretty uniforms? Cons Paid less for the same job at other companies. Very short staffed which makes the job even harder. Everyone is looking for other work to get out of the difficult conditions. Customers simply don't understand what the employees go through so they are rude and getting more difficult and demanding to work with. Enjoyed it was a great learning experience. I felt the company really took good care of there employees and wanted to always help and figure out how to obtain them which was nice.

Pros 4 hour shifts ain't worked there in a while so idk if it's changed , can mostly work by yourself, don't have to stand around. Cons Constant complaints. Even when working hard, they want you to work harder. Overall fun place to work but can also be very very stressful.
Having to learn new routes often is not fun. Good gig if you can get on a dedicated route with the right pay. I operate as a team with my girlfriend, would not do this with a stranger, but many do. We went through 4 contractors, and we really liked working for 2 of them.
Only left the first one we liked for a dedicated opportunity. Pros left alone to do our job, good pay. Cons fed ex will delay you a lot, make sure you get guaranteed pay, so you get paid to sit. Job was ok. Physical but not hard. Worked overnight , only 4 hour shifts at a time which kinda sucks. Other than that decent benefits.
