My husband was not impressed with the bacon appetizer or his del Monaco steak. Neither had any flavor. The Caesar salad was one of the best I ever had. We had Ricky as our waiter.

He was attentive and went along with our antics. Very nice! They had bacon as an appetizer The food was excellent as was the service! Looking forward to our next visit! Awesome as usual. I have never had a bad meal here.

Steak and sides are stellar. Excellent cocktails as well. Escargot was great, but I have had better. This place never disappointes!!! Everything is cooked to perfection.. Love the feel of Butcher and Singer and have eaten there 7 times now.

Each time the service seems to get less attentive and less professional for a restaurant of this caliber. Our waiter, after taking our wine order, let us sit for an hour before returning to take our food order and then disappeared again.

It took almost two hours to actually get our food served. I know it was a Monday night but the prices weren't reduced for poor service. I don't think I will return anytime soon, there are better choices in Philly. Excellent meal. Steak filet mignon as good as expected from a top steak house, but my wife's branzino was also excellent and much better than typical steak house. Escargot were flavorful and well presented. Service outstanding from Ricky who took good care of us on our anniversary and brought us complimentary champagne to toast our big event.

Highly recommend this restaurant. The food was absolutely incredible! Make sure to get the stuffed hash browns, but honestly you can't go wrong getting anything on the menu! Matt was the best waiter ever. Food was fantastic. Filet cooked perfectly and Brussels sprouts with bacon were scrumptious. Ambiance was so retro steakhouse. Will be back. Simply outstanding in every respect.

The service and food was outstanding. One of the best meals I have had in the city in a long time. The team all works together to provide a wonderful experience! Matthew was our waiter and he was great. It was our first time eating there and a few of the menu items were confusing. He had no issue with fully explaining the entire menu. Great service. It was expensive but it was well worth it. I would have checked creative cuisine, but they did best was make everything you would expect at a steak house better!

So impressed from start to finish. Beautiful decor, stellar service and absolutely delicious food. Steaks were some of the best we had ever had. Service was very slow. We waited 25 minutes for our cocktails and wine. Food service was fast however. Our waitress was friendly but did not check in often. Great food and service. Brian is an awesome server. Ambiance is great, but they need to reupholster the chairs and couches. They are severely worn and fabric needs a makeover.

The women's bathroom looks like it's from the 80's-ivory formica countertop and cheap looking bathroom stalls, one of which was broken. Not that you're spending all your time in the bathroom, but it doesn't match the ambiance of the restaurant and cheapens the experience. They can do better. Had a great meal here before attending a performance at the Kimmel Center. It's very convenient to the venue and parking. The restaurant is located in an old bank, so bonus points for using a re purposed building.

The ambience is very comfortable - quiet but not formal, elegant but not fussy. Nice to be able to hear your dinner companions from across the table! They offer a nice variety of cocktails and the ones we had were very good, as was the wine we had with dinner. Sign In.
